NYC Green Building Cost Study
USGBC New York has commissioned Davis Langdon to analyze the cost of building green in New York City. The study will mimic a national study previously conducted by Davis Langdon, which found no statistical difference in the cost per square foot of buildings based on whether or not they were built green. We expect to complete our New York City study by spring 2008, and will release our findings to the public at that time.
Please contact Lauren Hildebrand by email or at (212) 514-9383 if you are a developer or designer who can assist the Chapter in obtaining building data. The identity of any buildings included in the study will be kept confidential.
2007 USGBC Design Competition
USGBC-NY would like to congratulate the winners of this year's USGBC Design Competition, from our Emerging Green Buildings group (EGBNY):
Anu Akkineni, Ryan Bizorek, Denis Blount, Emilie Hagen & Mia Tsiami.
